But in the language of cupid,<br>
I knew it meant “i love you”.<br>
I knew, she knew<br>
She was my sinew<br>
Keeping me together like glue.
<p>But stupid was a cue,<br>
That she longed for a long kiss.<br>
Stupid meant she was stupefied,<br>
By a love that defied<br>
Any known human logic<br>
In the way science was defied by magic.</p>
<p>She called me “stupid” ,<br>
my id stooped,<br>
And there i stood<br>
Admiring the quintessence of perfection,<br>
Unable to move,<br>
Like i just saw Medusa,<br>
But what i saw,<br>
Flawed the goddess Aphrodite.<br>
She was indeed the deity of beauty.</p>
<p>She called me “stupid”<br>
In a voice that irked Lucifer from envy,<br>
So luciferous it was,<br>
It stole the darkness from hell.<br>
She called me “stupid”<br>
And i knew i was going to be<br>
Her only “stupid” forever.</p>
