REMEMBER US TOO…

Read Time:34 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Remember us Too]
So when you shall write
the budget budgeted for
your sting, ever-hungry tummy
remember us!

Remember us
we children on the far corner
of the rougher streets
that take pleasure
in struggles.

Remember us too
aged mothers
our teeth
can no more break
hustles

Remember us
for in this home
some of us are blind
while others own
crippled limbs

we too
we fought
for the nation’s pride-
pensioners sitting at the board gate
Remember us

Remember us
Nwacheta!
Remember us in
your city
of will
