REMEMBER RITA AND DAVE: by Oluwaseun Peters (Tiwistar)

Read Time:59 Second

I know of a union strong as liquor
Where Dave made promises, everest high
That they would soar above their rigor
And plant their love in a .. Far from lie
Now, Rita and Dave are home, but aloof

They hooked on a platter of Gold
The noise of their merry made the heavens smile
But barely one year old
Their vows unveiled misconception’s veil
Sad, Rita and Dave are home, but aloof

Their once army of two
That defeated all battalion of doubts
Now exchange words, not in coo
But blaring that gifts their ears bloats
War! Rita and Dave are home, but aloof

His once humorous lips that laced tart
Now leaves her sexy skin spanked
Her tender heart he once knight
He now whips, leaving it bruised
Enmity, Rita and Dave are home but aloof

Their river of love
That was supposed to flow round’a earth
Dropped her at shores of bluff
Then dried, leaving sands of regret
Pity, Rita and Dave are home but aloof

She chose him above the sun
And chased the moon for his sake
Not caring if the tide at which they run
Won’t with time, make their love flake
