ONE FOOT IN THE GRAVE

Read Time:59 Second
www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [One Foot In The Grave]

When the saints shall rejoice and ask

‘Oh death where is thy sting?’
In the fiery pits of hell you’ll bask
To Our Lord you won’t have anything to bring
For your eart and soul you would have sold

The devil is not a cushion to be trusted
Fall not into his hands unprotected
Avoid his path with fear of the Lord
Put all your trust in our great God
For there is a greater reward thereafter

Being the Devil‘s advocate is not a joke
Trusting him is like putting one foot in the grave
Calling upon death before its time awoke
When our Lord returns again
Heaven you won’t see, just hell you will gain

Remember when, on your own path, bidding
On the lawless deeds and lies the Devil is feeding
Upon unholy road the Lord has not paved
Tread not lest you find yourself laved
From the book to life to eternal damnation
