MAN NOT A DOG

Read Time:49 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Man Not A Dog]
I’ll not a time jump from up a cliff
Believing; man would lay a formed-foam.
Will I in life’s path, do, tread and roam:
A man-acolyte and see no grief?
No, a being is not a dog!

I’ll place not my heart into man’s hand
Or to hound beside the mound, when near,
Behind the mountain sides, is a bear.
He might flee, and alone will I stand
For he is not a dog!

I’ll not dive into a swirling sea:
He by the shore, will he swim to save?
Best, his tears will rain upon my grave
Eternal in silence I’d sure be
Not to tell, that man is not a dog.
