 </div><p></p>Like dreams we met<br>
Too hard to believe but inseparable we were<br>
Arms cuddled together<br>
Your head nestled on my chest<br>
My fingers playing with your hair.<br>
In the moment of passion, promises we made<br>
Like he who wakes from deep slumber to the worst dawn of reality<br>
I’m perplexed at where we find ourselves<br>
A memory soon to fade<br>
Though the scars still lingers.<br>
Incomplete I find myself<br>
For a piece of me I left with you<br>
I still ponder what remains of the plans we made<br>
Are we now liars?<br>
Or fallen folly to our own youthfulness<br>
Maybe this is fate just been cruel<br>
Trying desperately to split perfection apart<br>
Or this could just be hurdles we need to cross<br>
Soon old flames be rekindled at the aftermath.<br>
If none seems to be<br>
Let’s hope destiny have a plan<br>
And in time we find the piece that best completes us.<br>
But in this very moment I find myself<br>
I still find it hard to believe Lovers we were.
