KNIFE, SCISSORS AND RAZOR

Read Time:46 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Knife, Scissors and Razor]
Knives, scissors, razors
Fingernails and suturing materials
All stood at attention
Awaiting instructions
From a host of midwives

There she was, pinned to the ground
Facing the wrath of the knife
A sharp cut pierced in between her thighs
Like a bomb of fire
Agony exploded in her brain

She gnashed her teeth
Screamed but couldn’t hear her voice
Her heart was in her mouth
She felt wasted and hopeless

Every pee brings another flow of blood and pain
Every movement
Sends a burning bolt of pain through her
Other than HIV, what else waits patiently
To give her a pat on the back?
