When I do signs and ye marvel in wonderment.<br>
Don’t praise me, please; I’m just a jar –<br>

He’s got me set up like a pencil<br>
Dusted off and lifted out of the shelf,<br>

<p>Clap your hands to the <a class="zem_slink" title="Lord" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lord" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">Lord</a> and shout His praise,<br>
When you see me performing on the dais.<br>
I have power because <a class="zem_slink" title="God" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/God" target="_blank" rel="wikipedia">God</a> supplied the watts,<br>
And thus, to Him should you tip your hats.</p>
<p>Don’t count the Spirit’s Gold as mine:<br>
I’m just a jar, clay is my bone.<br>
Dust is the dude that works these signs;<br>
God plays the tune, I’m the trombone!</p>

 <div class="be-author-meta be-author-description">Ukpanyang Kingsley Ayi alias "Ayistar" is a 500 Level medical student of the prestigious University of Calabar Teaching Hospital. Born in the early 90s, he hails from Odukpani Local Government area of Cross River State. He is a Christian, a lover of words and writes for edification and motivation. He believes that "Talents and Gifts are tools for building our God-given dreams into reality." Though without an award yet, his works has been published in several poetry anthologies like Via Grapevine II, Epistle of Lies etc, and other poetry sites online.</div>
