IN THE END by Joseph Omojuwa

Read Time:39 Second

So everyone is present in this funeral,
Dancing to a tune we never loved,
Enjoying the meal but the music,
Staring at the dark corridor of our lives,
Everyone is present.
Not even a soul is missing!
On that day, when the ground fumed at our lazy legs,
Where the drums lye helpless weary from hands beating,
Everyone is strangled in this funeral!
Our feet are tried and tired of miming a song we never asked for,
Some, many, colleague left, but we have chosen to see the end.
We have decided to witness the beginning of the end
In the end, how many of us shall remember the beginning?
For everyone is present in this funeral!
