Prompting his thoughts,<br>
Directing his actions,<br>
‘Tis desires!
<p>It makes one restless,<br>
Placing before him a promised land,<br>
Propelling him to strive on,<br>
Never relenting until the Promised Land,<br>
‘Tis desires!</p>
<p>It has such misleading power,<br>
Landing fools in dungeons, in abyss,<br>
Making wise men more cautious,<br>
Only going for it for its justifiable goodness,<br>
‘Tis desires!</p>
<p>Dissect it with a discerning heart,<br>
Diagnose it with your mind’s eyes,<br>
Reshape it with our sharp mind,<br>
Before ever wanting to make it real<br>
