The journey of life
Is like a pilgrimage of time;
Like a run to the mount
To fetch from the treasury fount.

The depressful miles
That noisily receives
The heavy stamps of the feet.
Of the wandering wayfarer.

I see miles away
Full of depressing haunts.
No rest, no peace a day
As I walk into years I count.

Hot dew I see through the haze
And the scorching rays
That press my dauntless face.
Life is but a depressful mile!

  1. Uprightly path til kingdm com – Portland, OR – I am a daughter, wife, sister, mother, and servant of my Lord Christ. I am a psychology major student with a biblical background. From the moment I accepted Christ as my Lord and personal savior my life changed. Life as a Christian has not been easy, but it is rewarding, and fulfilling promises. I was not always a Christian, in fact I wanted nothing to do with the God or any sort of religion. However, there were events in my life that not only brought me to my knees, but it also proved that there was evil in this world, and where there is evil, there is also good. Even when I refused to seek the Lord's help, he loved me, sought me, and showed me mercy. I felt something that I had never felt before, it was pure, real, and unlike anything else. I accepted Christ, and my life was restored. This didn't happened from night to day, it took months, maybe years. However, through the trials, I felt peace, and hope... The Lord was with me, and I was no longer lost, I was found, and learning how to walk in the faith.
