#BringBackOurGirls: WHEN WILL THEY BRING US BACK HOME

Read Time:45 Second

We are the girls from Chibok
Was it a crime that we strove for our right
The write to know all that in in the book
Would our quest not be for our nation’s good
Alas, we languish now in the hands of beasts

They lied when they say we need not education
Is life not all about the search for knowledge
From the comforts of the cradle
To the rot that comes in the lonely grave

Well, here we are caged in Sambisa
Marooned by the marauders of the cape
We are the Chibok girls, we are cold
We miss our friends, our homes

New days mount on the shoulders of dying days
And we wonder: “when will they bring us back home?”
