I feel so isolated
Yet, we smiles as friends
Are we truly friends?
But you don’t tell me when I am wrong
Yet you feel I’m a hypocrite
When I tell you that you’ve offended me
You feel I’m an island of knowledge
Are we truly friends?
That you can’t tell me
When I am walking with two left legs
You felt indifferent about my existence
Are we truly friends?
Do you really come to me to spend time?
Or you are here to use time?
Friend, I will tell you what you can’t tell me
Ordinary people spend time, great people use it
Are we truly friends?
That I am always in search of a smile

Friend, are we Nigerians
Who believe things should remain the way they are
Or Nigerians who believe something needs be corrected
