Here are the remains of a great actor
Who lived for the people, and his creator
For him the tides could not return to the shore
Neither do nature recall its chores

Of his life, he gave his youth
And laid tenancy on golden truth
He gave his all:
like a pillar by the wall

So weep not again
Nor swell up thy pain.
