ABORTION by Cletus Nnaemeka

Read Time:33 Second

Swimming within its little world
Surviving on the receiving end of a precious cord.
Making motion and probably not mentioning a word.
Living everyday to maturity.
Step by step developing probably with no difficulty.
But they’ve connived and made it a threat of top priority.

What an irony.
This world of ours is funny.
Some never had any.
Others are in one way or the other
giving in to murder,
to this would-have-been sister or brother.

Powerless!
Defenceless!
Removal, a profitable business.
An individual gets ended!
A unique gift to the world ended!
A generation ended!
