 </div><p>A twisted tale it is<br>
As so many listens to hiss.<br>
who knows when she’ll strike?<br>
show love to all without showing a spike.</p>
<p>A mistake is not a death sentence<br>
and a twisted tale is not an elegy.<br>
I know they may agonize without ‘pence,’<br>
but there’s help on the way like the prayer of a clergy.</p>
<p>they live a life full of shadow<br>
If love stands aloof without care<br>
their thoughts are dark like an endless hole<br>
full of nothing but fear.</p>
<p>Derision stares them in the eyes<br>
with shame as their garment of consolation.<br>
I see help come down from the skies<br>
As those living with twisted tale dance in celebration.</p>
<p>A twisted tale is not a death sentence<br>
Joy abounds even without Peter’s Pence.<br>
The twisted tale can be doused with a show of love from me<br>
because the beauty of their energy begins with you and me.</p>
