A SMILE

Read Time:34 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [A Smile]
Dreary moments.
Alone in this sanctum
pulled like a puppet
by every string of thought.

Happiness executed
And the fun in jokes beheaded
By the sword of Damocles.

Time’s count seems slower.
The sun chooses to get out of bed late.
In the twilight world of boredom
Essence and his bride are held hostage.

In all, a smile on the face
Is the best costume
To cover such decay.
