A RIDE IN THE MOONLIGHT

Read Time:36 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [A Ride In The Moonlight]
The feel
that quickens our hungry heels
touches of your body;
smiles
that pierce so lovely

moment
still as night, chill like fright
breath
that lifts to the skies
brushes
cool like threading on ice

flight
like a ride with the princess
blind
love, like lullaby, in excess
fire
hurts so good and heals no less

my beloved
your wine tastes so nice!
weakened
i’ll dine and wine… never to rise
until
i’ll kill them off your eyes

I pray
this tender love be ours
not just for this few hours
but grow like the flowers
by the Victoria showers
