Read Time:29 Second

(About Nigeria civil war and it consequences)

Yesterday was lost along our memorial path,
It was the day we lost without defeat;
We killed our sons as roasted chickens,
They were bitterly sweet along the oesophagus.

Today, we croaked our throats to vomit poisons,
Poisonus poisons in yesterday’s meal.
For we have forgotten not to remember
That we are epileptic giants dancing naked.

Tomorrow, our shames will be spread on ropes,
For the scorching sun to beat without tears;
We shall take our memories to a longer journey,
Journey of yesterdays, sometimes in 1967.
