For Jewo Oghenetega, the winner of this edition, “a universe where “U” [you] = me” is the new frontier he aspires to. Jewo’s Love &; Lingua, from which this anthology’s title comes, is largely aspirational like many of the other poems in this anthology. This speaks to our nature as humans to always look beyond what is already known.</em></h5>

Poets featured in this edition are Jewo Oghenetega, Temidayo Testimony Omali Odey, Osieka Osinimu Alao, Olumide Manuel, Olafisoye-Oragbade Oluwatosin David, Inimfon Inyang, Enobong Ernest Enobong, L.A. Oyagaba Abah, Chukwuma-Eke Pacella, Overcomer Ibiteye, Ude Vivian Chidimm, Adebowale Raphael Omolasoye, Peter Columba Itanka, Ogedengbe Tolu Impact, Ifunanya Juliet, Oluwasegun Oluseyi Adesina, Nnadi Samuel, Ẹnììtàn Abdultawab, Onyedikachi Chinedu, and Fadairo Tesleem. The BPPC is a monthly writing contest aimed at rewarding the under-appreciated talent of young Nigerian poets. It awards <em>â¦30,000 </em>in prize money to the top three entries.</h5>
