WAVES OF FATE…

Read Time:1 Minute, 9 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [Waves Of Fate]
Parched in this oily trap, with our fates dangling on a swinging rope,
We hummed the songs of the fear in our hearts and submitted our case
Upon the table of injustice

We stand on this trial ground to sign our fears for death
Cleaning our faces with rags of poverty as economic strangulation
Hangs on our peoples’ bony necks

We consoled our land and looked into the eyes of fate
We unsubscribed to mental slavery
Clearing the bushes of fear

We feed our bellies with bravery, casted lots for justice
Not afraid to die by homicide
In the hands of timid tyrants

We marched in millions, one by one, with armours of justice in our hearts
Like villains of fate, victims in our own oily land
Servants of our own hearts slaved by those we lifted

We stood before the face of history. We stood before these waves
Like heroes of fate, not slaves of thieves
Sniffing the scents of the grave.

Thou imprisoned of our rights, our watery mouths won’t cease to fight
Upon the grave yard of our souls
Until the waves blow through the barns of our hearts

We stood before history!
