MORE TO LIFE by Cletus Nnaemeka

Read Time:23 Second

There must be more to life
than just scowling faces
thorny paths, rugged places

Unified in disunity
broken broke hearts
whole in parts.

Homes turned houses
sons against mothers
daughters against fathers.

Storage boxes for grudges,
friends turned foes,
stolen farmlands and broken hoes.

How do we cope in a world without love?
There must be more to life
than these strife.
