I JUST MUST LIVE

Read Time:37 Second

www.facebook.com/WRRPoetry [I Just Must Live]
I seek a lift of words
To paint my lovely cross

Our plight is gross
And life has chosen a flux

We earn our crumbs of shame
Under sun and rain
Through muscle strain

Slug it, slut it,
Beg for it or earn it…
We just must live

See not the blood we shed
Or have it splashed upon our chest
What we seek is that crest

How we get it will hinder no rest
After all, life kisses only the fittest

(This is inspired by Machiavellism, ironically using negative doggedness to highlight the conflict of survival…)
