WORLD’S EXTREME CORNER

World's Extreme Corner

Who shall console
this grieving woman
whose face is buried
in her wet palms?

Still reminiscing on
the mild smile on his face
the day he walked her
down the aisle.

His words were so sweet,
Like fresh honey.
So caring, he worshipped her
like a small god.

Oh, how sweet
was his softest touch;
brought heaven to earth
and lifted her to heaven.

Until that night,
365 days after the vows,
he dragged her like a goat,
among the sharps of the forest!

It started with a slap
went down to blows
and now she’s a doll
for konfu training!

Returning is not possible.
Going forward is a death sentence.
She’s there alone,
on the world’s extreme corner!
