My hut is my heaven
Where every night I’m to laze
Where not rats, cockroaches nor lizards are denied
Where I get shelter, it is my haven
There I’m sensible
And tomorrow is my heart
Live you in a mansion, or a mountain
I tell you, here in my hut I live with vision
To me, it is more than Great Britain
Oh yes, I’m in love!
With God and all natural things…
Even the birds’ whispers
There, in my hut the breeze comes as a dove
Oh, all I can see and feel up the roof
Are glamorous of gossamers…
