The grains of heaven rains,
Its blessing saturates all.
Who owns my empty bowel?
The grounds rejects me
My problems surround me
I wait upon a coming death.
I who have nothing
Will anyone heed my cause?
Will my eyes burn tears for no course?
Nowhere to turn to, my days have time.
Will I keep gobbling scraps?
Or clothe myself with rags?
Or the street my pangs of hope?
And trace my roots to faults?
I pray, the heavens look
I should not be buried a fool
But I am he who has nothing,
I love and care for everything.
