RUMBLE FOR A DANCE by Maxwell Onyemaechi Opia-Enwemuche

Rumble for a Dance
The beauty of the mind cannot be separated
No matter how we are eventually celebrated
Hearts will beat together from a distance
And emotions may feel each other at a stance

The journey of love has many routes
Not taking us away from our original roots
The heart does belong to some one
But we can’t help it but love another one

Beauty is not of the heart alone
For our inner strength is seen when we’re alone
Idle talk has never helped my emotion
But your thought within me drives me not into commotion

If only I can taste but a sip of this wine
If only I could feel this taste that’s not mine
The sweetness in your sugar box
The wetness in that ecstatic box

I can sing a thousand songs from a far
If only I can travel into this place so far
The tingling of my body rumble for a dance
And I know you’ll join me in this bacchanalian dance.
