Shoola Oyindamola was born in August 1997 and raised in Ibadan, Nigeria. She is an author, a poet, a feminist, a mentor and a blogger. She loves to writes poems, essays and her non-classifiable opinions. She uses her writing skills with her feminist drive to discuss the gender injustices that need to be fixed.
She published her first collection of poems titled “Heartbeat” in New York, USA at the age of 16.
She is the Co-founder and Resource manager of Sprinng Literary Movement; a non-profit organization and initiative by Kanyinsola Olorunnisola that gathers Nigerian writers and works to project the creativity in Nigerian literature. Oyindamola is fully dedicated to promoting, discovering and curating Nigerian literature. Through this movement, she helps to reach out to many Nigerian writers on social media and with references. Within two months, she reached out to over 175 Nigerian writers and successfully convinced over 115 of them to be members of the movement.
She has successfully managed the presence of the Sprinng Literary Movement to a cumulative audience of over 2000 views within three months. She mentors some of the writers when needed and edits articles sent in for publication on the website. She sets internal and long term goals with the founder of the movement and works to direct the growth of the organization.
In addition, Shoola Oyindamola is a budding psychologist, public speaker and spoken word artist. She dedicates her blog to inspiring people to do better. She uses short articles to guide them to achieving their goals and provide entertaining information about feminism.
Shoola Oyindamola is a committed, motivated and hardworking young woman that always aims for the best in her writings and in life. One of her life goals is to nurture the upcoming generations of Nigerian writers and guide them to be and do the best that they can.
She hopes to mentor them thoroughly and inspire them just has she has been encouraged and taught by her Literature teachers and friends; Mr. C.J Njoku, Mr. U.S Aniga and Kanyinsola Olorunnisola.
